Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention Personal information of the applicant may only be used for the specific purpose with the respect of the services offered, otherwise consented or when it is permitted by law. DCIC Application Center excludes its liability in connection with any passport applications, including (without limitation) liability in or under contract, negligence, tort, statute or otherwise howsoever, and including (without limitation) liability for any default, negligence, delay or failure of DCIC Passport Application Center in advising on, providing information on, handling or processing passport applications, loss of or delay to passports and other documents, delays involving the processing and rejections of applications for any reason. DCIC accepts no responsibility in relation to the accuracy, completeness, usefulness or otherwise, of the contents. Applicants are advised to verify/check any information, and to obtain any appropriate professional advice before acting on the information provided in the Portal. Filling up the application form correctly and completely and truthfully mentioning all information that is pertinent and / or asked for, is the express responsibility of the Applicant.
DCIC Passport Application Center can assume no Liability for Force Majeure (Event or occurrence which is outside control of the party concern).
DCIC Passport Application Center is not responsible to any Passport applicant or any other person relying on or benefiting from any passport application, for any commitment, cost or expenditure incurred in reliance on or anticipation of receiving a Ugandan Passport, whether within a particular timescale or at all, including but not limited to air travel, hotel, and other travel and accommodation arrangements, and any other arrangements made. All the arrangements made by the Passport Applicant for any purpose are at their own sole risk.
DCIC Passport Application Center is not responsible for any direct/indirect, natural/unnatural damages occurred due to delay, misplacement, loss or damage of application, passports and other documents or any other cause.
DCIC Passport Application Center follows all the procedures prescribed by the Government of Uganda from time to time regarding process of all passport applications. Each application form is checked to make it error less by DCIC Passport Application Center, but it does not guarantee detection of any or all errors within the information of the applicant provided in the form, it is the sole responsibility of the passport applicant. So, they are requested to provide valid and accurate information while filling the passport application form to avoid hassles and refusal/rejection of the passport.
Passport Applicant is advised to fill the passport application form truthfully, completely, correct and provide valid & accurate information and documentation.
Processing times for passport totally depends on the information provided and additional checks of the information is done by competent authorities.

Applicants are requested not to make any bookings or purchase of tickets or any travel arrangements before the grant of a passport.
